BusinessIntents gives finance, sales, operations, and HR teams their own records, tasks, and approvals on one shared set of business data.
Each role page shows what the team records, which decisions it takes, which groups approve, and where the record goes next, with links to the step-by-step workflows.

How roles work
Every team works on the same customers, products, employees, and documents. Group membership decides what a person sees and which actions they can take, and a task addressed to a group appears in the Inbox of everyone in it. The four role pages organize the product around those responsibilities.

The same rules apply to every team.
What a person can see and do depends on their groups. Read-only users see permitted lists without New, Edit, or Delete; operational groups receive the actions their work needs.
Approval tasks are addressed to groups such as Approver, Issuer, Sender, Payer, Manager, Accountant, and Agent. A task appears in the Inbox of everyone in the group, and claiming it takes it out of colleagues' queues.
Statuses change only through guarded buttons and workflows. A rejected document never passes through the approved state, and finished documents lock: corrections go through a void, a credit note, or a reversing entry.
Every employee has a Personal workspace that shows only their own records, such as expense claims, vacation requests, timesheets, payslips, and leads, with their own Inbox tasks.
Administrators maintain users, groups, settings, and shared registers. The Administration workspace shows every record but applies the same numbering, validation, lock, and audit rules.
The customer manages its users and groups. In a small company one person can hold several groups; a larger team can give creating, approving, issuing, and paying to different people.

No. Permissions follow the user groups your administrator assigns. The role pages describe the typical split of work; your organization decides who belongs to each group.
Yes. A person can belong to several groups, and the Inbox shows the tasks of every group they belong to. In a small company one person often prepares, approves, and issues; a larger team can separate those steps.
Not in the Personal workspace, which shows only records linked to the signed-in employee. Other employees' payslips, vacation balances, and timesheet rates are never shown there.
Next step
Bring one process from your business to a workflow review. It shows which groups prepare, approve, and hand work on before you set up users.
