BusinessIntents by role

Carry customer context from lead and opportunity through quotation, order, invoice, and payment.

Sales reps work their own leads, opportunities, and quotations, then hand a confirmed order to the warehouse and billing teams without re-entering it.

Every step is numbered, owned, and reported: a lead becomes a customer or an opportunity, an opportunity creates the quotation, and an accepted quotation generates the sales order.

Sales in BusinessIntents

Keep the deal and the customer in one record trail.

A lead converts into a customer or an opportunity, an opportunity creates the quotation, and an accepted quotation generates the sales order with all its lines. Customer terms such as due days, credit limit, price list, and discount stay with the customer for the orders and invoices that follow.

Daily work

Each card opens the documented workflow with its statuses, actions, and responsible groups.

Roles and approvals

The sales roles and what each one does.

Group names are those shipped with the product. One person can hold several groups; your administrator decides who belongs to each.

Sales rep

Owns leads, opportunities, and quotations and sees their own pipeline in the Personal workspace under My Leads, My Opportunities, and My Quotations.

Sales group

Receives the follow-up task for every sent quotation; the task is cancelled automatically once the quotation is accepted, declined, or expired.

Approver

Confirms or rejects sales orders before they reach the warehouse.

Coordinator

Books and maintains customer appointments where the Appointments module is added.

Pipeline overview

Pipeline by stage, won and lost split, opportunities by owner, open quotations, and orders by customer give an overview of the whole team.

Customer records

Business and individual customers with contacts, due days, credit limit, price list, and discount shared with billing.

Decision-stage questions

Common sales questions.

Which BusinessIntents areas are relevant to sales teams?

Leads, opportunities, quotations, sales orders, customers, the optional appointments module, and sales reports, connected to fulfilment and invoicing.

Do reps see each other's deals?

In the Personal workspace each rep sees only their own leads, opportunities, and quotations. Wider visibility in the application workspace follows the groups your administrator assigns.

Is the quotation carried into the order?

Yes. Generate Sales Order copies every quotation line and marks the quotation as ordered. The owner is set on the order itself.

What access should sales users receive?

Reps work as owners of their records and members of the Sales group. Confirming orders belongs to the Approver group, which you can give to a sales lead or keep with management.

Next step

Bring a real deal to a workflow review and see how the lead, quotation, order, and invoice stay connected.
